Dick Engineering has been involved in a variety of projects related to the use of wastepaper. This work ranges from the complete design of greenfield mills to upgrading and "de-bottlenecking" existing systems. The objectives of these upgrades include: increased yield, higher brightness, decreased "stickies", effluent reduction, lower grade furnish utilization, and increased production.

As a result of this experience, we have developed expertise in the selection of equipment and the design of systems. This knowledge is supplemented by our extensive in-house library and files that contain details on operating histories, proven flow-sheets, equipment operating strategies, and state-of-the-art systems in Canada, the U.S.A., Europe, Japan, and elsewhere.
